Andria stepped up. She read an article I had written on LinkedIn asking for volunteers to help with a project to distribute a children’s storybook about coronavirus, and she raised her hand. She brought her expertise in philanthropy and writing to the team and made a huge difference in how we directed donations to people who downloaded the book, Captain Corona and the 19 COVID Warriors. Andria wrote nine articles highlighting ways that every person could be a COVID Warrior during this crisis. Our work together made it to the online pages of People Magazine. She reached out to her homeschool communities and helped promote the book among military families. Andria is an excellent writer, marketer, and social media strategist. I am grateful for her work on Captain Corona and know that she will continue to do amazing things in her career.
I have been a colleague of Andria’s for well over a year. Andria has been a great mentor and sounding board when in need of advice related to proofreading and editing while working together on multiple government contracts with different security, formatting and coverage requirements. I worked with Andria as a co-leader in our youth group at St. Peter’s By-the-Sea Presbyterian Church. Along with teaching and leading small groups over the years, Andria also spearheaded an impressive 1-year long church-wide campaign to raise funds/awareness for human trafficking.
